This is LOVELY - really, this is just so many levels of lovely, and as somebody who spends 9 months of the year living in "the fundamental social Siberia of rural fucking Scotland", I really appreciated that line

LOL! Ah! I am so glad that someone in this fandom is actually from/in Scotland! That just made my day. Tell me, do the Scottish and English give each other shit? Like the taunts I put in this? Or do they all play really nice with each other?

Slow burners are great. Don't get me wrong, I love the short, snappy little drabbles or the 'fill in the gaps' oneshots, but I prefer something that starts and slowly evolves and works towards something over time. Also glad you liked being in Kit's rather random head. Odd place that it turned out to be.

And oh yes, do check them out. They are weird and random and not at all what I normally listen to, but I am in love with them. Your Rocky Spine, Palmistry, The Chorus in the Underground, Still and Stealing Tomorrow are just great songs to write to!

Basically, yes they do. I go to school in St Andrews which is basically the most English part of Scotland imaginable (even more English than some parts of England, to be honest) in terms of the people & lifestyle & how outrageously expensive it is and stuff, but when I take the thirty minute journey out of St A's and into the authentically Scottish city of Dundee, I do genuinely fear for my life. So I TOTALLY understood Kit's reaction here :P

I absolutely adored this. The internal monologue from Kit was just fantastic and the horror movie bit in the middle was genius. So freaking funny.

Oh I love it! I loved reading Kit's thoughts and his paranoia was endlessly amusing cause that's usually how my own mind words. Yup, totally getting murdered and baked in to a pie, it's the most logical conclusion. Incredibly enjoyable fic!
