I used to listen to Jars of Clay all the time, and I'm not even Christian. They just had some really beautiful songs. And I just found out recently that Sixpence None The Richer are Christian, and I've always liked them. Jesus is layin' down fat beats to make the whole crew bounce. Up in his heavenly hood, puffin' on a blunt of pure goodness and love.

yeah sixpence didnt classify themselves as christian which in my opinion was a heck of a move. People see the christian label and immediately turn away...not saying that a lot of christian music isnt very simple cause a lot is. but some people are as close minded about that as they are about country. by going by a pop genre, ie sixpence creed pod amy grant, they can get what they want to say to a lot of different people. good idea.
