G'day Kiddies, as we all know, Japan has been walloped by the trifecta of earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear woes of late. LJ and fandom in their wonderful way has jumped in to raise funds for relief. And minkland folks have also jumped on the bandwagon!

oh wow. i just recently was struck by a huge RW desire. so i went to all my old haunts... to find them ghost towns, and all the old favorites lost to the abiss(sniff). i have to say when i found minkland i was over the moon! thanks for keeping it up all this time. it's nice to know that after 18 years i'm not the only one that still loves this.

Well g'day then and yes, there are minklanders lurking about the place...the comm itself...I won't say 'died', but we have branched out. Although! Minkdudes are always and have always been, a tight bunch. LJ is how we all keep in touch.

We drifted off into different fandoms. The people in minkland, quite a few of them, still talk to each other about life and so on, some almost daily.
