Now even the buses are mocking me. I was sitting outside Simon's Place today, enjoying a coffee and reading a book (The World According to Garp) when a bus advertising the new Harry Potter book dashed by. Then another. And another. Take it from one small-ish, brown-haired male DO NOT wear dark rimmed glasses this weekend. The christmas after the first film was released I was walking into Hogan's on Georges Street, the bouncer remarked not to 'cast any spells' & on a separate occasion a bunch of drunk burd skangers yelled 'There's harry potter!' at me.

I think the best skanger jeer I've ever gotten was 'You should have gone to SpecSavers bud'.

Surprisingly witty. Are you sure you're not embellishing their wit? The worst I ever got was a guy, who I'm convinced (with hindsight) was coming on to me, telling me that I was the spitting image of Harry Potter, etc etc, to which I said 'here, if you're coming on to me, you're not going about it in a very good way' (which I didn't actually say - primarily because it was only after he invited me to a party - nude only - in a secluded forest somewhere in the Wicklow mountains that I had my suspicions as to his interests).
