After reading your description of Salsburg and Arun's narration of Innsbruck, these two places have got added on my list of places to see in Austria other than Vienna.

it is hard not to fall in love with Salzburg, it truly is a fantastic city. I was there for new years about 10 years ago, it was one of my best new years ever! nice pics

Good pictures and write-up!
I have also visited Salzburg while i was in Munich..but all i had time for is to visit the Ice caves...never saw the town like you did..:-(
