It's weird - I'm not annoyed because there are lots of little canon errors to nitpick. Or at least, not primarily because of that. TLA is just...meh.

Dang. Maybe I can turn my brain off and enjoy it when I go to see? At the very least, I'll make snarky comments, I guess. That's always fun.

I have not read the rant, just in case I decide to watch the movie myself. However, you can answer one question for me that'll make things a whole lot simpler. Chris loves TLA cartoons...is the movie okay for a 10 y/o to watch? I've been a little concerned about that b/c of the director's history of movie making. He's not known for really being kid friendly. If you give it the okay, then I might rent it when it comes to video for me and Chris to watch together...

As far as I can remember, it's definitely kid-friendly. I mean, of course there's violence at the end, but the only bit of that you actually see up close - that I remember, anyway - is the bending, which is really lame as violence goes. xD (AKA: Not violent at all). If he could handle the cartoon, he could definitely handle the movie.
