If I were you, I would uninstall EA Downloader and Windows Messenger, removing that obstacle. And, on AIM, if you go to Settings > Sign In/Sign Out you can disable the Welcome page thingy. You could also tell it not to sign you in automatically or to not start up when Windows starts, so that you only have to go through the opening/sign in process once.
