What to do?

Rory had an excellent time on sheep over the weekend.  She was bold ("she's not afraid of much, is she?").  She has strong, upright eye and managed to get the sheep pinned on side of the round pen with it.  Then she got to show how responsive she is to me by looking at me for direction (since a few sharp barks had not overcome the power of her eye ( Read more... )

I have no hearding advice for you. I grew up in the country, but no sheep. But I wanted to say WOOT! for finding what your dog rocks at. It's not always an easy thing to do, but you did it.
i hope you find just the right path for both her and for you. ;)

I've no advice on herding, but "widdershins" is a great word, I agree that you should use it as much as possible.

If you trust the trainer you should do it, you will miss her but both of you will be happier.
