Excitement at Freddy's

Meyer, that is, not Rockstar Mercury.

Went to Freddy's to get some celery for chicken soup (can it get much more mundane?), and arrived about the same time as the fire truck.  The building was fine, but a car in the parking lot was on fire.  Very exciting.  I think this is the first time I've ever seen a car on fire in person.

Was it a ford Escape? Mine exploded in a parking lot last year...

From the announcement in the store, "would the owner of a blue Lincoln Continental please come to the front of the store?" (note no license plate number!) I think it was a Lincoln. Would've liked to stick around to see the owner's reaction, but I wanted to get home more. Same manufacturer as your Escape, though....
