I tried to take the survey but since I chose "genderqueer" as my gender identification, it booted me off. I understand you're looking for cis-women, but since I appear to all and sundry as a cis-woman regardless of what's in my head, it seems like a weird reason to be disqualified.

Just something to think about.

Another gripe about being ineligible to participate, just because I have a trans-identified partner doesn't mean that the people in my life know that he's trans, and it doesn't mean I don't have relevant experience as someone who dates more than one gender. I don't think any data on "bisexual people that date only cis-people" is a representative sample of "bisexual people."

Thank you both for your comments and feedback! You are right in noting that your (or your partner's) trans or genderqueer identity may not be visible to the people around you, and I agree that you both may have experiences that overlap with those I am studying. But some other trans or genderqueer people's identities ARE quite visible in ways that might affect the experiences under study, and if I did not differentiate, I would have no way to account for this in my research ( ... )
