Two down, twelve to go....

I've finally finished (more or less) uploading at least basic details of all my projects and stash to Ravelry, and, tormented by those fourteen works in progress on my projects page, have taken advantage of the warm weather and spent some time in the garden with my knitting. A little progress has been made on the seasilk Forest Canopy, but two ( Read more... )

Oh you are good. I finished a cardigan last week but I've only put in one sleeve and the rest is lying around in pieces. I really hate sewing up. The joy of sox!
Mollie has come out so well in that photo - her fur, I mean - that I know just how it would feel to stroke her. I'm feeling pretty cat deprived.

Oh, I hate sewing up! I have to force myself to do it all at once and not do anything else until it's done, or I'd have bags full of pieces of knitting. That's why I thought this would be easy, there's only the two side seams to do (I did a three needle bind off for the shoulders, which worked very well), but I'd rather have sewn in several sleeves than done all that edging.

Millie's fur is very soft at the moment, I gave her a good brushing a couple of weeks ago, and a lot of the surface hair came out, leaving the downy underneath showing. She's a very cuddly cat! Min is too, except that she doesn't really like it. Moll just lands on my chest on a regular basis and offers herself up for stroking.

It is. It's fun at first, but the novelty wears off when you have to knit it together with picked up stitches for over 300 stitches....

It's a good size for a clapotis, you do the fun stitch dropping rows satisfyingly regularly, and the pattern is easy to remember.

Wait til you see my Ravelry stash! It's quite scary :)

Can a person look at Ravelry without registering? I'd like to see your pics but I don't want to get in the queue and join myself.

You can't, sadly, but they're all in my Flickr account, which you can see (account name minniemollknits). They're not labelled in there yet though.

I agree with Mollie, Tulip is exceptionally nice and a great fit!
