I didn't expect that, at all! This is so amazing - I was feeling a bit sorry for Lily, comparing her to an overwhelmed first-time, very young mother. The lack of nappies was possible, but then she started buying all the other things, too...and then it was starting to make me even more curious about the state of the room, the fact that the baby didn't have the things that one would expect the Potters' kid to have.

And then you hit me with the poor crying woman! And the envelope from the hospital.

I don't have words to tell you how much I loved this piece.
