Commuting...

According to a survey completed by TheLadders.com, top executives have a much longer commute than the average U.S. Worker. Apparently, the average top executive has a commute of 42.3 minutes, while the average commute for a rank-and-file employee is 24.3 minutes. Knowing that information, what does that say about my commute that averages to 75 ( Read more... )

After 8 months or so I'm now used to the Tysons to Silver Spring run around the DC beltway, which means that being on the road for an hour at night is fairly "good". The morning on the other had is a breeze. 40 minutes, whooo-hooo!!!! Something tells me I should be glad I never get on 270!

Yes you should be glad. Although you are far enough down that it would probably be a reverse commute for you.

I believe the main gist of what this is saying is that you live too far away from your job. :-P Although, I've heard that some people enjoy a super-long commute to and from work everyday... But, somehow I get the impression that you do not fall into this category.
