8D Woman, you have no idea how insanely happy I was when I saw an update for this. It was like.. *garglediesreads* it was great. XD And this chapter made me so sad. Though I have a feeling that a lot of this story is going to make me quite sad. IT'S GREAT. 8D

Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it as Lea's chapter in particular was a pain to churn out. Yeah, it's only going to get darker and angsty from here on, although there will still be fluff (I like a balance of the two) :P

Is Lea/Axel harder for you to write, as opposed to Saix/Isa? Awesome, I love dark and angsty stuff. XD. Did I sense some jealousy in this chapter? Is Axel a bit ticked off that Saix is spending some time with Xemnas? Or is that just my crazy brain overworking. XD

Lea is especially hard to write, as he says one thing and means the other; which is exactly how I picture and write Axel (since he is the master of deceit). A nasty trait like that is easier to portray in an adult who is allowed to think that way, but harder to effectively put across in a ten year old's voice.

Saïx and Isa are just introspective and reclusive, so I don't have too much trouble with them. It's...bloody...Lea...!

Nooo, that's not your brain overworking, that was the point of this chapter - thanks for picking up on it! There's jealousy left right and centre - and I guess from this chapter, if you squint, you can tell how the fic got its name ^_^

Eeeeee, saw this in my inbox from ff.net. SO EXCITED.

Loved it, of course. This story makes my heart hurt, but it's still lovely.
And "Your lack of memory means I have a second chance. I can tamper with you, rewrite our story to cover my faults that caused our destruction."
I want to know more~~

Aah, it's not that exciting, but I'm glad you were eager and I'm sorry for the delay in getting this up.

It's all the angst that causes the hurt, and there'll be more to come :o And Axel's line you've quoted there is meant to point to Isa and Lea's ending which I um...haven't completely worked out yet...

Don't worry about delays, haha. I just love this story. After trawling through the terrible fics on the Pit, it's nice to know that I can come to you and get quality :P <3

Also, NaNo today! Are you going to be doing the Saix fic you were talking about earlier?

You can still find some good fics on the Pit but you really have to search. One time I clicked on a fic that had a good summary and premise, but once I got reading, it nearly made me cry with how much they butchered Xemnas.

Yep! I have started my NaNo and yep, it's that Saix fic. I was going to make a post about it but at the moment, I'm rolling around in embarrassment because on second reading, I noticed I wrote in my prologue, "Cloud scanned the papers as well as he could with moving streetlamps as his only sauce of light." So so embarrassing T_T
