Shit's official: Dario Argento lost it.

The Hitcher is being remade?!?!? How the hell can you do that without Rutger Hauer? I mean that's a classic! "You have any idea how much blood shoots out of an eyeball when it gets... punctured?"

Isn't Diary of the dead just the behind the scenes stuff? If so, its a great deal of fun. Romero is still the Bees Knees and appears to have the most fun hard working no pay sets in the world.

Apparently, they think they can do it with Sean Bean. Oddly enough, they had planned to do it with Hauer again, until he dropped out.

No, sadly, Diary of the Dead is the next planned film in his series, about a bunch of teenagers making a horror movie in the woods when the zombie outbreak begins. Romero's going to shoot it on digital, and early script reviews liken it to The Blair Witch Project with Zombies.

Document of the Dead, however, is a very good behind the scenes look at the making of Dawn of the Dead.
