Not a bad day, its actually sunny and almost warm if you sitting in a wind free spot. I'm busy as usual doing my new assessments..just handed in about a dozen and got given another two to do. But only 6 weeks left till I'm qualified and then ...who knows? been looking at alternative jobs for the summer like fruit picking in europe and conservation

Well, if you really want to volunteer in Australia these two websites are useful: Conservation Volunteers and Volunteer Green.

But my manager says they definitely need a child care person at his son's child care centre (think this is the case at lots of centres in Brisbane) and they pay above-award wages. It's in the city so is easy to get to as well!

Wow! Didnt think i would be able to get a job that quickly after finishing my course but its looking promising. I have to finish first then get married then travel over but thanks for the info.Off to look at the websites as i really fancy doing some volunteering for a bit too. x
