Thomas and I live in Matthews, which is a suburb of Charlotte, NC. I gotta say, for coming from California, it's a taste of real seasons out here without it being too cold, it's very beautiful (brick buildings, foresty, gorgeous) and it's about 15 minutes from downtown Charlotte, so it's not some po-dunk little place where people marry their cousins. And downtown Matthews is sooooo cute. Really small town with lots of little shops that are all owned by people in the town. It's such a great place. If you're seriously interested in moving out to the east coast, and especially this area, let me know. :D
