In the beginning, I only harbored curiosity.
Then slowly…
I began to hate him with a passion.
I kept looking back at the pictures and replaying the videos and listening to that stupid, stupid voice of his over and over and over.
“Is he your favorite?”
But I resisted, because no, it wasn’t true, couldn’t be. That ridiculous laugh, that cocky attitude, those cheekbones that belonged on a Velociraptor…
That smile, those eyes, the way everything he did had me smiling like an idiot.
So I fell in love, and I felt manipulated, like he was playing me like he plays that goddamn guitar.
The battle was long and hard, but I suppose we all lose in the end.
