I get paid to watch television
The second day on the job, and I have to say, I really like this job. It actually feels like being paid to watch TV. It's mostly Discovery, which includes Animal Planet and TLC, the channel that brings you all the best bad-for-you television (such as Toddlers and Tiaras, Cake Boss and Snog, Marry, Avoid). Some of that TV you have to watch would do my head in. But Cake Boss sounds funny.

Being very Belgian means having a Belgian accent and being very polite.
Up until now, the only episode that I really hated subtitling was Kate plus 8, because half the episode is children screaming and the script says 'inaudible'.
I have to say, though, I don't particularly like Bear Grylls anymore (STOP PUTTING LIVE ANIMALS IN YOUR MOUTH, BEAR) and dr. G, Medical examiner.
