Camping at Lory State Park

So we finally got up there. We went up at dusk (sorta dumb) on Friday and set up camp after hiking an hour up to Arthur's Rock. I'm really glad Eric and Jay have most of the gear we needed since I left what little I have back in CT. I loved the site. Bouldering was just out the tent door. Sounds like a lot of fun! :) Didn't get a chance to make it to Lory more than once :/ Glad you got some nice nature-bonding time :)

Highway 14/Roosevelt N.F. = Poudre Canyon ^^

Places to look for bighorn sheep: hill above Mishiwaka (bar), Rustic, hill behind Arrowhead Lodge, hill near Home Morain Trailer Park, and up by Big Bend.

Always look on the north slope (north of the river)...you won't find bighorns on the south slope.

There are moose starting in Rustic and higher too :)
