I stayed at a small condo complex 500 ft from the beach in Kehei on the island of Maui in Hawaii with amigas Michelle (and her mum Kim), Krista,  and Laura (Kim's friend). There were geckos in the house. I love their feet.

I'm leaving on Thursday morning for Detroit. We'll be leaving for Hawaii on the weekend, and I won't be back in CT until the 31st.

Summer solstice pained me. I'm moving into summer from an 18 year spring.

I belong to a online forum called the Werelist. I've been on there a few years off and on. However, as of late I've contacted two people who are also going to be at Colorado State! I'm very excited to meet them and I hope we can create some mountain miny howl and connect. Huzzah!

I went turkey hunting both Friday morn and today. The only thing I killed was time. Didn't even hear any o' the birds. I can't complain though, morning woods are especially beautiful, and tree naps are the best. I did see three deer and a redtail hawk though.

     May is one of my favorite months -spring explodes and I'm Nature-blasted with all sorts of new growth and birds and scents. I visited three colleges: 
                Colorado State University: My favorite-by foothills, great honors/HURS program, lots of opportunity to go outside, and Fort Collins

I don't think it is possible for me to fly in the winter and not have something go frustratingly wrong. Thursday morning we got to Bradley andtook off about 30 minutes late because they couldn't find a flight attendent. Alright, that's fine. We get to Philly and have to circle around (waste of fuel!
