OMFGGGGGGG.
BC Provincial Exams

Applicants to UBC are not required to write the BC Provincial Exams, other than those required for high school graduation. If you elect to write an optional BC Provincial Exam, the admission decision will incorporate the results only if they increase your admission average.

Yeah, no kidding D:. I hate how they always experiment on our years. Being guinea pigs sucks when things always get better right after they experiment on you.

WHAT THE HELL. That is absolutely NOT FAIR. Why did we have to suffer so much while the lower grades don't?? Why do we always get played around with.

This had better be worth it on the long run >:/

I can see WHY they did this, but I really can't see how it'll be at all fair for admissions decisions, without the provincial to standardize things. An LFA student's average would probably be equivalent to a higher average at a public school, and I'm sure not all schools across the province are equal in how they assess their students. A straight-A student at High School C could be a straight-B student at High School D, and so on. Wtf, honestly.
