So I got bored and went looking for "BSG:The Plan" DVD sales numbers...

"The Findings" sounds official, doesn't it? too bad it's not, just some of my googletastic crackpot investigative work. Behold:

Lol I know right? She's taking the world of DVDs by storm. Did he say that? That changes everything then huh? I'd only seen the interview I quoted from. I guess there's a chance for more cylon movies after all. Which is cool for the fans who are interested I just liked the human drama more I guess. Ah well, it'll be interesting to see.

If you read his interview from a little while back (I forget who with, maybe i09?, but I can find if you want) EJO actually said he wanted to make movies about Tigh and Adama and Lee. And he said Kara's story would be told along with Lee's. Of course he also said Katee told him that she felt Kara was in heaven with Sam...so...there might not be much there for us anyway.

Honestly, I hope they never make any more anything at this point. Because it's only got the potential to retcon so it's worse and worse IMO.

If 300K is really the threshold though, I wonder if they'll hit that once The Plan airs on Jan. 10. And if it's too late or it counts or whatever.

I have to agree about retcon and worse and worse. I thought the whole point of closing the book after four seasons was because that way RDM and CO. could tell the story they wanted to tell, in the way they wanted to tell it. So to me, personally, the extra movies don't really make sense. Season 4.5 was so slow to get off the ground, they probably could have put all "The Plan" stuff in there, quite frankly. Again, just my opinion, I know. But still, have to agree with you about never making anything again.

Yeah, work petered out on me at the end of the day and I just got restless, I suppose. I could have written something but sometimes I get real stubborn and don't write for days and days.

You know, I just saw a post a "Watch with Kristen" about NPH's twitter, and his entry was so hysterical it made me realize I should probably try HIMYM as I've never seen it....

No Fail on the NaNoWriMo, at least you tried! That's more than a lot of folks can say.

The rewatch party has like a bazillion posts! Maybe I'll catch up tonight. I really wish I was more interested in a rewatch so I could join in, but I'm really not. Sometimes I think I won't ever watch that show again. Weird of me, huh?

As for EJO and The Plan... I downloaded the movie, but I have to watch it yet (I've been watching Glee and FNL and Sons of Anarchy instead ;P) And dude, I agree with you, my favorite part of BSG was the human drama... The cylons? I never cared for them very much --that's why S4 was kind of meh for me (that, and the lack of pilots, of course). Sigh. Frankly, I don't want more BSG --I'd only be interested in more movies if they had actually a story to tell --which is not the case, imo.

Good for you! I've heard a lot of good things about those shows. I've been watching Fringe and reading fan fic in my spare time. I'm not interested in watching anything BSG related right now for some reason.

I don't think I'm interested in movies unless they specifically change what we've already seen on screen with my favorite characters and you KNOW they're not going to do that. So basically it's all filler and retcon and if I wanted that (and done better) I can just read fanfic. LOL

Oh Fringe! I *need* watch it! Of course, because of my dear Josh <3 (but I haven't found a good source to download the eps yet :( ). Maybe I'll buy the first season when it comes out here in Spain.

And I agree about all the BSG stuff. I still love pilots dearly --and enjoy reading fanfic and watching vids and discussing them--, but this show broke my heart, and I am done with it (it is a shame that I can't find a new show that makes me feel *really* fannish. I miss the feeling :)).
