I'm putting off writing...to waste time on LJ...as usual! Woot.
Rules:
1. Comment to this entry saying 'ICONS!' and I will pick 6 of your icons.
2. Make an entry in your own journal and talk about the icons I picked!

before there was Kara and Lee for me, there was John and Aeryn. This is one of my favorite moments because
Aeryn is so afraid and Crichton is so...not. He just wants to be with her.
Aesthetically speaking, I love icons that have b&w backgrounds w/ colorful subjects in the foreground.

I made this last Sunday after watching Legend of the Seeker with my brother and sister. While we were watching, my brother
busted out randomly with "Legend...of the SNEAKER!" in this really dramatic voice and I cracked up. I had to icon that, I mean, right?
I had to icon it. I chose chucks because I want to be married in chucks, buried in chucks. I love my chucks. Also, I like red.

Dirty Dancing is like Nutella to me. Comforting and always makes me feel good. Dancing plus romance plus good daddies plus campy eighties cheese=FTW. I chose this cap to icon because I like subtlety in icons. I love using pics from my favorite movies and tv shows that have a sort of "stock photo" feel to them.

placeofthunder Felicity is more television comfort food. I LOVE this show, I've watched it so many times. I asked for this icon because this is the moment where Felicity is too afraid to trust Ben again after he broke her heart even though Javier insists Ben has changed.
In the end, Javier just takes off his glasses, sits them on her face, and pronounces, "There? Now do you see? Do you see the new Benjamin?" Adorable.

Random fact. I have a thing for old pickup trucks. I think it started when I was a kid and I read this book about a girl who drove an old truck and there was a watermelon farm and some sort of mystery....Who even knows. That's not my point anyway. My point is that I have this secret wish to just live in some wide open space where I can drive an old truck to work barefoot with the radio blaring and the windows rolled down.
I chose the sky because I like the mixture of stormy clouds and sunshine, and I chose the stock pick beneath because if you look closely, there's two people in the truck. I like to think they're getting away from it all and headed off into the sunset where there's never anything to be late for.

placeofthunder I've always been a Joey/Pacey shipper. And this? This is the J/P shippers canon fantasy moment. This is where the magic happened, baby. Joey literally left Dawson standing there, all alone, crying in the ugliest way anyone has ever cried before or since-to be with her true love. How can I not want an icon of that?
