i really want to write about my honeymoon here... just to write down and review all the places we saw and went to eat. yes, it may be painful for you to read (and me to re-read) btu i think it would be cool. of course, these big "projects" never get done but its good to want to do them, right ( Read more... )

to be honest.. yes. My initial impressions of AB back when I first watched his show (like 2003 i guess?), I thought he tried wayyy to hard to be cool and ended up just cheesy (walking down a Paris street smoking... wow. so cool :P). In his effort to distance himself from the lame "other hosts" he sometimes comes off trying too hard. But his show is great in general!

Hmm, interesting. Usually when I see him showing disdain for the beaten path or "other hosts," he ends up either consciously making fun of himself for being so stubborn or discovering that he was wrong for being such an ass about it and sort of recants. I like his self awareness. I haven't been watching as long as you, though.
