Thanks.

Different programs, really. I'd rather physically be in Kyoto - I think I'd enjoy that city far more - but it looks like the program in Tokyo might be better for me. We'll see.

Well, only abroad the last semester. :( Hopefully you'll be in the vet school next year, natch? Or I'll have an excuse to visit you at Tufts or some such. ^_~

I'm sorry about the amputation, but yay for healthier and less pain!

Also yay for free rugs. I found mine in a throwaway pile in Anabel Taylor Hall this summer.

That's pretty much how it goes - it sucks, but it's better for her.

That's a pretty awesome place to find one. They were just tossing it out?

Yeah. It's a little bit worn and needed a run through the wash, but it's pretty, and I was conveniently in the market for a rug (and unwilling to pay Target's prices).

good luck for your mum, sure she'll be much better after the amputation but still it sucks, I'm sorry.

you can study in Tokyo and spend some days in Kyoto maybe... Tokyo looks so stressful! But I have a friend in Kyoto and she likes it :)

Yeah. Wherever I end up, I hope to visit all over Honshu, and maybe even Shikoku. *crosses fingers*

Indeed!
