I love MySpace....well, except when it refuses to load pages!

I use it mainly for music....finding interesting underground music is rather fun, and MySpace seems the best place to do that.

I don't know why you are fighting it...that seems kinda silly :P

I know it seems silly... Maybe I'm just a snob since I sort of think myspace is a way to have a webpage without bothering to learn html. Which I taught myself. :) I guess it's a whole different thing when I think of it being about music and more like the people I have on my flist here on LJ etc - but its all the teenyboppers raving on about it that makes me a bit crazy :) hehe

Laughing at this - exactly how I once felt, lol

The one thing that strikes me with myspace as opposed to your own website...mostly...is that unless you're very good at self-promotion ( and I suck at that severely)...the only people who find your website are those you actually tell. Yes, you're very clever to have created it but it perhaps doesn't offer the same ease of access...

Not even sure that makes sense...oh well, it does to me :P

And as Candy said...there's the music. And the random entertainment value.

Not to say there's not one hell of a cesspool section on there...but it's easily enough avoided.

Never thought I'd see the day where I'd actually be defending or promoting myspace...but I do find the human side of it absolutely fascinating. Perhaps it's voyeurism, or perhaps just contact. Who knows?

Maybe it is just the website of the lazy...or the cybernetically challenged :P

I've been thinking that it's very true that promoting your beautifully and brilliantly coded website is extremely hard so that aspect of it is great. Plus the feedback and seeing who is online and comments and whatnot... goddamn you can hear me surrendering... :P

Btw, get on MSN :P

You will be assimilated, my friend. So, quit being a snob for fuck's sake. You can still show off your html skills, even at MySpace.

MySpace needs a Goddess, right? Come on...you know you wanna!
