Some pics of the filming at Pierrefonds on 4 May
Here are some pics that are presentable, though I'm afraid they are old news for most of you.
I had to resort to links for the bigger ones because I couldn't figure out how to post clickable pics that you can see in a bigger size using Photobucket. And LJ was being agonisingly slow so I gave up. If someone knows...
It's always strange and exiting to spot some recognizable props when you visit the castle.
I think Gwen or Merlin forgot something…
Those knights gave me a bit of a scare. I was standing in the cloister, watching the repeats of a scene with lots of extras in the courtyard (fascinating thing to watch, like a well choreographed ballet). At some point I turned my head and the knights were standing like 50 centimeters from me. I realised that they were both walking along the cloister towards me each time the other extras were milling around the courtyard. They both might have had a laugh at my expanse.

There's something about Colin on a horse. And he's so graceful mounting/dismounting. Very elvish.

I swear, Colin is always smiling. Really.
About Colin's attitude on set, something I remembered by reading my notes.
He came back from lunch around 3 PM. He crossed the courtyard when the quarrel scene between Arthur and Gwen was being rehearsed/filmed. He looked like he was in a hurry to get inside (probably some filming with him going on) but suddenly he spotted a middle-aged extra he knew. He stopped by with a "Hey, glad to see you, how are you doing?" attitude, shook the guy's hand with a huge smile, talked briefly with him.
I was like, he has to kill puppies on his spare time. No one can really be like this, right?
Some sheets were distributed at the end of the day. New lines to learn? Some changes? Eoin is already busy studying them.
As I was leaving the castle, I saw the evidence that some battle was going to take place that night.
