30 Quills: Denial (#11~The truth never changes . . .)

A/N: A few notes for this one.

It’s not clear if Billy’s switches schools after what happened with Kessler, but I would assume with anti-mutant sentiments so rampant in the Marvel-verse, he would have had to do so. He might even have been expelled for the assault. This is written under the assumption that he did go to a new school after that. Also ( Read more... )

alkcjisjas;!!!! Why must Teddy be so dense and cute? OMG this is so adorable.

I really like the inclusion of Billy's brothers. I liked seeing how no matter how much they tease and torment Billy, they can't stand to see their brother get hurt. It was a nice touch.

I love seeing how equal Billy and Teddy are in this relationship, too. That's probably why i ship it so hard. Neither of them has more power or say in this dynamic. They are partners through and through. They balance each other. And Teddy's admiration and desire to protect his boyfriend is perfect. And Billy being so honest and unashamed of who he is what makes me love him. So yes, kudos to actually articulating that balance in this. Not many people do that for them the way your do.

And of course, the Kaplans... Oh Mrs. Kaplan. I love her.

Lovely as always, hun! Excited to see more from you ^^

He's gotta have some trait that makes him go dense once in a while so he can offset Billy's 'DAMMIT, KAPLAN' habits, ehehe!! XDD

Yay! Thank you, I'm glad to see them well received. I have so much head canon for those two little guys, though I don't know WHY. I mean we haven't even seen them in the book yet. But they spark my brain a lot. I think they were the first ones to accept Billy just as he is. They don't see Billy as a 'geek', he's their big brother and because of that, anything Billy likes is 'cool.' Having two little people actually look up to him constantly, I think may have helped Billy gain the confidence he has in just being himself.

Ah yes, that's something that intrigued me of about them too. A lot of times I think when we see gay couples portrayed in media the creators will paint a big fat 'I'M THE BOTTOM' sign all over one of the pair. Heinberg does not do that. He writes them in a way where you don't even wonder about it, because that's not what their relationship revolves around. It's not even important ( ... )

Amazing, absolutely loved how you made his family, especially his little brothers, be such a big part of it.

I will always love protective Teddy too.

Yay, thank you! Yes protective Teddy is the best. =3

I did worry a bit after finishing it if I showed too much of his family, so I'm glad you liked them. 8D
