This is a story inspired by a prompt given to me several months ago by littletechiebird, regarding what would have happened if Teddy and Billy hadn’t been rescued from the Cube.

Holy... Omg. That was so ridiculously intense. I was stunned - this is one of those things that stands out because I feel like you took risks with it. For example, it's very rare to see... "gross" stuff. There's characters being hurt, but becoming mush and clay and decomposing and stuff? That's rarely ever shown. And the descriptions are great, and Billy's half-spell-half-spoken broken words were perfect, and their thoughts and pain! Wow, this was just so excellently described, and the intensity of their feelings...

I actually used write horror a lot, and I still read it often, so I still like dappling with elements of it sometimes.

haha, don't be sorry - it's fantastic. it's wonderful to read something that makes you squirm, because most writers, myself included, sort of romanticize things in a certain way that takes the true horror and grit out of it - we like to keep it beautiful (you can wound or main a character, but God forbid you make him disfigured or mentally retarded, you know?), but sometimes that's not enough, so it's refreshing to see someone stepping over that line ♥
