Hey, I was just about to write you about that stuff :p Not to mention post a big update with the new developments. I found out about Xcite in November or so, when a relative deluge of orders came from out of nowhere and I sold out the rest of my first hand-soldered batch within a week. Ever since they've been in-n-out of stock, and it became clear that making them in my basement would not remain a viable option.

Right now (literally, sometime between yesterday and tomorrow) the first "PRODUCTION RUN" of Trance Vibes (200 boards) is being assembled by pick 'n place machine. I should get them within a week. The company doing the assembly is Lil-Brother LLC, a small hobbyist-friendly assembly house in Alabama. A guy at the local Dorkbot group told me about it - apparently started out as a couple guys who bought a used pick 'n place robot on eBay. I've been cutting the enclosures by hand so far with some garden shears and a metal form, but the secondary purpose of building the CNC is to mill large batches of vibe enclosures. Final ( ... )
