I used to like John McCain a lot. I honestly think his campaign against Bush did something bad to him, and he has not been totally the same (as a senator, I mean) since. I have not been at all happy with him during this campaign, and it is true that a campaign might not be the best window to view a candidate, but for someone that has talked about integrity and deceny so much, and who used to act on those words... it was disappointing. And also sad to see someone who used to take a true pragmatic approach swing wildly around (maybe pandering for votes)... I dunno. It made me sad. I do like John McCain, but not as much as I once did.
