Something last minute for my Brisbanite friends, particularly ones involved in trying to make a living from creative endeavours. A friend of mine, Chris Koch, is organising a forum this Thursday and has got some great speakers lined up, particularly another friend of mine, Peter Hayward from Swinburne Uni in Melbourne. I'd love to go, but I'm afraid it looks like I've been shafted by a client, and will be up Queer Street (NB: not a homosexual metaphor) until next week.

If I read that right and it's a money thing, call Chris and let her know and she'll work something out. I'm happy to vouch for you to her, or, even easier, happy to cover for you until you're good for it actually. I'm probably going to head in for the first half of the day, got stuff on later.
