I

Oh great heaving lighting sky
downward
upon me,
take glance and be what judgment ultimate.
when it is hot
and yet I meant to cool
let the tree fingers wave their cool hands to me
and let me wave back
as my hair will surely soothe its' agitation softly.
when ill minded heads find my shoulders comfort
let the ever greatness lift them
and drop them under the hard paced walks,
every day frenzied tap(crush)ing asphalt;
hot stinking betrayal to good will
and spiritual progress,
let the ashes raise steam spirals
all
around
the sins
of the sinners.

Oh great infallible question
educate my answers
so i may ask more and again
with blind frequency
and a love for back pages.
may unacceptable behavior,
and people and situations,
may them accept what they are not
and move as I have for you
of you
to you
due
to
you.
let them know love as longing
for as i have loved.

Oh fixer of broken remedy
take this recipe and add you something something.
take this body
and form the vase around it
case it
and stick your fertile hand
to guide the roses.

II

It first came
running down like stairs
on faces
as I stood
waiting
looking
and she came from down the hall
layered in carpet moss
as it fell upon my feet;
she looked down
and asked me what I was going to do about it.

then it came
up
and through
like a straw in a cardboard cup of water,
she was there to clean the mess
and throw away the mess
and soon there was no longer any mess available
so I made it my own
without her
around the dark table,
smiling melancholic contention
wearing skin that changed colors
depending on the weather.

now
well,
I suppose I will have to see.

III

I lay there
on top of the covers
and rank inside my boxers.
the electric sun blared 2am rays at us
from atop the asian decored table made of glass
and porcelain,
the shade all lit up like that.
you uncapped a marker,
I think it was purple
or blue
or maybe
it was a brighter kind of green,
and wrote on my chest
"I love you Andy Urbats!"
and you wrote it
in a way
which I could not look down
and make it out;
a mirror would tell me
what thoughts
came out of the marker
and
they
said
"I love you Andy Urbats!"
with a line
break
after
I
love
you.
