but i adored the differences in the way the two families handle the whole letter process. it was well-written and this is a brilliant start.

I've been dying for some Ted/Andromeda Tonks fic for ages and this fulfilled all my expectations - and then some. It was beautifully written and beautifully characterised. The two vastly different home scenes also contrasted nicely and served as accurate microcosms for the pair's wider childhoods.

I thoroughly enjoyed this. In fact, I would even go as far to say that in reinvigored my enthuasiasm for this fandom, which after three years I was starting to go off a little.

Aww, thank you. I just want to say that this comment made my day and then some. I wanted to show just how different these two are from the very beginning, which just serves to make the fact that she leaves her family for him even more dramatic.

That just knocked me off my chair. That's the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me. Honestly. I'm so glad that you read this, let alone thought so highly of it. Thank you and I only hope that this next bit [that's just up now] goes to justify such a remark.
