so, its been a while since I've updated, and a lot of crap has passed through my life since then. I think I matured a lot lately, mainly in the last couple weeks. I guess the main reason behind this being that I lost my father last week. He was in a motorcycle accident on labor day. He was just out enjoying the day off, when someone at a stop sign

when i heard about this, i didnt know how to approach the situation. i contemplated calling a THOUSAND times and really couldnt find an appropriate moment because i thought it was to soon. I was really crushed when i heard about this and im so sorry brian. i havent really stopped thinking about it, and thinking about how you felt. and on top of that, i was trying desperately to make plans to make it home to see you and i was swamped at school so couldnt make it...which i still regret. I miss the crap out of you man, we should talk soon.

i also thought about calling a million times but didn't know what to say at all. i didn't know how you would be feeling or if you would even want to hear from a random girl who you aren't even that close with. but i WAS thinking about you, and reading this entry made me realize that i didn't have to worry about anything and that you are being incredibly strong about it. i know you know this but we are all here for you if you need anything, i would love to come out to tampa and visit (my roommate is from gainesville so maybe i'll eventually make the trek) but until then keep your head up!! much love from the saint louis area...
