Whatever. I've been there. Don't get me wrong. It's nice. But I fail to see anything worth the hype.

Bah, Pete Carrol has had them pretty tight the last 3-4 years, and when I was watching, USC was deep striking down Mich's gut.

The fans/announcers are another issue, but, going into a game in Southern Cal, when your strenght is being a bad weather team isn't a smart idea. Not as bad as a dome team in Chicago at the end of Jan.... but you lose your edge.

Oh, USC is a decent team. They have even been a great team- just not this year. This year they were a good team with moments of greatness. The problem is that in order to be a BCS champion, you pretty much need to run the table, and the only way to do that is to be consistently great.

They're not. They lost to two pretty mediocre teams. And the sports community just refuses to accept that their golden boys are more like bronze this year.
