lately i've heard nothing but evidence that there is no such thing as love. i've heard of people who have been married for years that have cheated on the other. have been married and do not even love each other. have been married and tried to divorce numerous times but have stuck through it for the kids, or for the familiarity of it all. i've heard

hmmmm, i tend to not believe in things as romantic as "soulmates" but i do think that certain kinds of people naturally go together better than others. relationships usually start off with magical lusty sparks, which fade over time (along with the relationship, if that was all it was based on). i do think that people can love each other deeper than that, and make a relationship last (for the rest of their lives, even- and still be in love) but its hard to make something like that work. people cheat on each other because they get bored, or they're fighting, or they don't communicate well about what they want. in general, people are stupid and doom their own relationships- but it IS possible for anyone to find love and romance!
