it's pretty good! character interactions and inner turmoils etc etc. that really hook you in. you should definitely give it a go!
have to say, as much as asian (idol) dramas are so cringeworthy, i love asian films. so many jap/korean films i've watched are so beautifully shot and acted out, with the distinct... asian subtlety. (yeah you know what i'm talking about right? lol)
ohhhh, i'll look out for it. Sounds like a cop/gangster drama. Is it? I love those dark ones! But not too much unrealistic gore... Lol
^__^ jap films are goood. I get what u mean. I havent watched too many k ones but i've heard they're similar to jap in some styles (experimental and horror)... Some hk films are good... Lol and martial arts ones
