oh really? i thought it might be really long so i was a bit put off reading it... but okay, i'll borrow it soon! :)
idk, i didn't think to read it back in primary school and now i've pretty much lost interest in the fantasy genre so i don't think i will read it... actually i remember starting the hobbit for class in year 6 but i don't remember what happened...
i started reading sense & sensibility in year 7, back when i wasn't really into it, and got bored after the second chapter. then i think... in year 10, i watched the bbc film, featuring alan rickman (♥) whose portrayal of the character is supposedly (said by study guide) a lot more capable/sexy than he's meant to be, so i didn't want to ruin the image... or something so i never ended up reading the novel. (whereas with every other austen work, i read the novel before watching the film)
i started LOTR when the movies were out but got bored cuz it's long and tedious. but i'll probably finish it one day since it's such a classic. read hobbit for preuni. it's ok.... just that gollum has a lot of screen time lol.
ooooooh alan rickman! oic... i dunno, i'd probably still read it though. *shrugs* each have their own entertainment value.
