I did a strep test today on a patient. During the collection, the kid coughed all over me and his spit flew all over my face. I was not very happy at all. Of all the things I've seen and done during my nursing career, this is simply the most disgusting thing that's ever happened. Damned if that test was not positive

Working code with a guy who ate a sardine sandwich and some ice cream before he coded, the ASPRIATED IT ALL!! 3 guys and a girl on the engine waiting for a medic unit from howard county GAGGING. It was pretty crazy, and nasty. I am telling you. You should come ride along!!! It would be so awesome.
