Peanut Blossom Cookies

This is such a fun recipe to make with kids. There's making the dough, rolling the dough into balls, rolling the balls in sugar, and then squishing in the chocolates. My daughter loved it. And the cookies taste so good. They were still soft and delicious the next day.

Hope it turns out well! It's one of the better kid cookie recipes I've tried with her 'cause there are so many fun things to do with it. :)

Thank you so much for posting this! I've got all the ingredients except the kisses. We've got plenty of chocolate we can choose from here though! Were they solid kisses or did they have a filling?

I didn't use Kisses either, I went with rosebuds. :D They are a solid chocolate. Even though the chocolates don't go on until they come out of the oven, they turn to goo in seconds. Fresh out of the oven, Serenity scooped out the warm chocolate and ate it like pudding first. The next day when they were cold, she'd pop the chocolate off and eat it first again. lol I don't think filled chocolates would work; they'd have to be pretty thick with a good wall of chocolate so the center wouldn't ooze.

Ah! Okay...I thought rosebuds were a different kind of kiss. LOL! Thanks for the clarification Robin. I'll let you know when I make them. :)
