Is there any way you can move your location in the office, or go to HR? If it's that bad, you might want to explore all options to get you out of this situation because no one there is going to change. I worked at the BofA office bldg and people there seriously mocked me about being a JW to the point of throwing water on me, spitting paper wads at me, and saying off-color things. The lesbian that worked in the cubicle in front of me shouted humiliating things and everyone always laughed with her. "Eww Doria's hair is ratty today!" "I swear I saw someone totally mutated looking at the bar, worse looking than Doria here..."

If you're afraid of some type of retaliation from this guy if you bring him to HR's attention, it's time to go if there are no other options. Sometimes you have to throw away the fact that "I need the money so I'll stay" because mental health, well being, and respect are far more important.

I dont deal with him that much and its not like he is abusive or anything he is just a simmering pot of angsty anger and has no compunction about being rude.

I'm not afraid of him in the slightest I am afraid of my temper and what I might say/do to him should he push me :)
