Harry was nearly flabbergast. Hermione not agreeing with Dumbledore? Wondering why a class is mandatory? He shook his head, wondering if that would change things. Nope. Hermione was still ranting.

"Who are you, and what have you done with our Hermione?"

And you'd think he was just teasing.

Ron was too busy glancing over at the Slytherin table to really be paying too much attention to what Hermione and Harry were saying.

"Yeah, seriously." He wasn't even sure if that was the right thing to put in or not, but it couldn't hurt anything. If he didn't say anything, Ron figured they'd call him on it eventually and that wouldn't be good. He was a little embarrassed to be so preoccupied with a girl, the fact that she was a SLytherin girl didn't even play into it at all.

In all honesty, it was the same type of attitude she had towards Divination. She thought it was all a load of rubbish.

"Really Harry," she scolded lightly, "Do you honestly think any of our classmates are learning something? Ron, what do you think?" Hermione pressed her friend, studying his expression.

"No. You're right, Hermione." He still wasn't sure where the conversation was going or what whom was learning. Whatever. Ron thought his answer sufficed just fine. When Gabriella smiled at him, he grinned back and gave her a small nod before he tried to refocus on the sitiuation. It probably owuldn't last long.
