Questions. I LOVE Suggestions.
Okay, I hate to get my knickers in a bunch, but I've got a few problems. I'm not exactly sure if their major, but hopefully I'll be able to solve them with the help of you guys.

Problem 1: The Wig
I went to the store and picked up the last two dies they had. Which just so happened to be the two colors I think I need. Red and Yellow. Since I'm dying the wig to look like Ron Weasley, that should do. The wig is blond now, and very shaggy and gross from the last time I tried to dye it and it didn't work. I have to give it a haircut, and I was first wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how I should cut the hair.
I also went to the store and bought 70% Rubbing alcohol and a spray bottle, cause I think thats what I need. Does anyone know exactly how much of the ink and the alcohol to combine? And how messy is it? Should I do it outside, or inside?

Problem 2: The Messenger Bag
I bought a really cute bag at Marchals and I was thinking of cutting off the straps and making new longer ones with the fabric I made my wand holster with. I also was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to make the bag look ... how do you say it.. distroyed? I was wondering if I could put wood stain on it to make it darker as well... I'm not sure if it would work though. I'm going to Hermione Granger it up, so any suggestions on how to do that would be lovely.

I already have a tie, but I'm making one for my friend who's being Ron Weasley... I bought a maroon tie and two different metallic gold liquid gold painters pens. I'm wondering how I should go about painting the stripes onto it. Should I tape off sections? I was also wondering if anyone has had a problem with the ink bleeding through and past the tape in the past. I want it to be perfect. I'm sorry. I'm a perfectionest.
