Actually, I got the book going the other direction - the one that the movie was adapted *from*. Which I've heard is different, but also good. Didn't know they further adapted it into a graphic novel, heh; there's something to look into. But that's a hearty recommendation if I've ever seen one, so I shall definitely try to get a copy of the movie soon!

Oh. Duh. The book by Dianna Wynne Jones. Why didn't I think of that? *headdesk* I never actually read the book. I remember I was reading a different series of hers when the movie came out, and had to finish it before I could pick up another book. Something about a griffin going to a magical school...
Anyway, I ramble. The movie is very good. And I remember liking Dianna Wynne Jones (if not Howl's Moving Castle in specific.) So I'd recommend them both. ^_^
