NANA is very well written, very detailed- in many ways more like a novel than a manga.
How far have you read? What language do you read it in?

i own it in various scanlations up until the most recent chapter 60, reading it in English as I'm being too curious to be patient enough to read in Japanese. i've already read until the 9th volume.
but that movie...i simply cannot believe it became the biggest box office hit last year. have you seen it?
