Because it amuses me...
Comment on this post and I will pick four of your icons to talk about in a post of your own.
Stolen from Nora, obviously. ^_^
Ah, Jack. That's O'Neill, with TWO L's. This icon makes me think of really good episodes of SG-1. Cause, y'know, after a while it started going down hill a bit. And then they moved Jack off the show by promoting him. And it was kinda like "but... it's not the same without Jack around..." So yeah. This icon makes me think of Daniel going off on some rant about this site or another, or something else that Jack may actually find interesting, but usually doesn't have the time and/or energy to really focus on it.
Or like Carter in the middle of some really long scientific explanation for the problem of the week.
And Jack's just like "...so bored. who cares. let whatever it is explode. at least it'll be more interesting."
Hatter! (heart!) Andrew Lee-Potts! Only one of the yummiest brits alive. I particularly like this icon for the look on his face. He really does look quite skeptical. And though it may not have been super popular and made a ton of money, I REALLY liked Syfy's Alice. I thought it was refreshing, interesting, and generally pretty badass. Like, Tin Man was definitely an interesting re-invention of the wizard of oz, but it seems like at some point they kinda missed their focus and it would've been better had they not drawn it out so long. So I think they learned from that when they made Alice. It's not too long, and Alice herself is a great re-invention. Not too timid, not unable to defend herself. Definitely cool.
And Hatter! I liked the teas, and the shop, and that he was so sincere and yet not at the same time. Just a really good character.
...of course, it doesn't hurt that Pottsy is a total hottie.
Mmmm. Boondock Saints.
Really? I like these pictures because they're amusing. They look very inappropriate, yet they're from a point in the movie that is so deeply spiritual it's amazing.
So that makes me laugh.
Yet another picture that I love cause it makes me laugh. John Barrowman is amazingly talented. And very animated in real life, especially during interviews and whatnot.
I have no idea what was happening in this picture when it was taken.
But the look on his face is priceless. It's so awesome.
How could I not love this as an icon? It works on so many things...
...
Woo!
That was amusing for the moment.
