I agree. Billie/Christopher were great, her connection with DT was never as good as Martha's is.

Yes, that's it exactly. I quite enjoyed DT and BP together but Billie and Chris were just WOW.

Much like David and Freema -- that wink in the hospital scene, classic.

You are making me want to watch it again! I gave up about mid season with the new Dr and I think it was mostly due to the news that Rose would be leaving.

I felt the same way and then I after I had the entire season, I just flat out watched them all in pretty much one go... (Make that over 2 weeks, hehe)

But I'm so loving this new season it's not funny -- and it's really not that I disliked David and Billie. It's just that David gets to play more than light and in love, he gets to play all the shades in between and the same with Freema.

It's just so Fantastic.
