Warnings: Uh, stupidity. Some random idea that hit me and wouldn't stop nagging.

Kangin reaches up to brush a lock of hair from Eeteuk's face, his body curling around the other's. Eeteuk purrs in content and sidles closer, smiling when Kangin slings a casual arm around his waist.

"Youngoonah?"

"Hm?" Kangin asks, playing with the ends of Eeteuk's hair.

"Let's tell the others about us." Kangin lifts his head from the pillow to look at Eeteuk.

"Are you sure? You didn't want to say anything for the longest time because you were the leader."

"I was afraid for a long time that they would reject us for being gay. But I'm sure now. They deserve to know, and I think they'll understand." Eeteuk's voice wavers a bit, but his eyes are steady. Kangin smiles and leans in to press a soft kiss to Eeteuk's lips.

"Okay, we'll tell them tomorrow."

They call a group meeting the next morning. The others whine and complain but get out of bed anyway, because if the leader and unofficial second-in-command are requiring that everyone be present, it must be important. They stagger into the living room, half-blind. Kangin and Eeteuk wait until they are comfortably situated around the room, squished onto the couches or perched on the windowsill or sprawled on the floor. Eeteuk grabs Kangin's hand and takes a deep breath.

"Well, we don't really know how to say this, but... Kangin and I are together. Together together. Like a couple."

There is a long pause. Eeteuk's eyes flits to each of the members' faces in worry, his grip tightening on Kangin's hand, but there is simply no reaction at all, nothing to determine how the others feel. The silence is finally broken when Sungmin speaks.

"So... What is it that you want to tell us?" A few heads nod in agreement and turn to look at them expectantly. Eeteuk and Kangin gape.

"Well, that was... really all we wanted to say..." Eeteuk trails off lamely. The others blink and the another silence ensues. Shindong groans.

"You woke us up half an hour early just to tell us that?" Shiwon yawns and leans all the way over until his head drops onto Hankyung's lap. Hankyung strokes his black hair, luring the younger boy back to sleep.

"Hyukah, Hyukah," Donghae whines sleepily, tugging on the sleeve of Hyukjae's shirt, "What did they say, what did they say?" Hyukjae rolls his eyes.

"Nothing important," he reassures the younger boy. He stands and stretches, then grabs Donghae's hand and pulls the other up with him. "We," Hyukjae announces, "are going back to bed." He marches off with the confused brunette in tow, their fingers intertwined. The others murmur in agreement and trickle out of the room one by one. Sungmin murmurs tiredly and clings to the back of Kyuhyun's T-shirt, burying his face into the back of his neck. Kyuhyun blushes fiercely and flails around in a half-hearted effort to shake the older boy off. Yehsung carries Ryeowook, who had fallen back asleep during the meeting, away piggyback style. Soon, the only ones left in the room aside from Kangin and Eeteuk are Kibum and Heechul, who are fast asleep on the couch, arms and legs entangled.

Kangin eyes Eeteuk warily.

"Well," he says finally, "at least that went better than expected."

I... don't even know. -____- Apparently I need to write crack once in a while so my ability to write angst won't die on me.
